Born in Queens, New York Sherm fell in love with hip hop at A very early age. Listening to Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Jay-Z, The Lox, and many other artist. At the age of 11 sherm began writing his own rhymes, not really knowing what he was doing he would sit in class when he should have been taking notes and try to put songs together. As the years passed he studied classic albums such as “Ready to die”, “Reasonable Doubt”, “The Chronic” and began to take music more serious writing lyrics to his favorite tracks on each of those albums. After filling a notebook full of rhymes he realized it was time to put it all on wax.
In june of 2010 he released his 1st mixtape “Back For The 1st Time” and it has been highly regarded ever since. Now you can hear his music played on online radio stations daily and he has appeared on numerous hip hop websites. His style is like nothing you’ve heard before. He’s conscience, witty and his wordplay is out of this world. In 2011 Sherm will drop his highly anticipated second Mixtape “Back For The 1st Time pt 2”.
